Dave Cruz

Chairman of the Board

Dave Cruz is a hands-on owner with over 30 years of construction experience throughout Alaska. Mr. Cruz’s passion for innovative equipment, and ability to tackle the most logistically challenging projects across Alaska, has helped CCI grow to what it is today. Mr. Cruz is highly skilled in contract negotiations, administration, equipment operation and maintenance. He has served on the Matanuska-Susitna Borough Port Commission, and is a past president of the Associated General Contractors of Alaska. Currently, he serves on the board of the Resource Development Council of Alaska, Alaska Gasline Development Corportation, and is a member of the Alaska Support Industry Alliance.

Jeff Miller

President

Jeff Miller currently serves as the acting general manager of Cruz Construction. Since joining Cruz in 2004, Jeff has held progressive roles in operations, project management, engineering management, and project controls. Jeff has over 20 years’ experience in the Heavy Civil and Oil Field Industry. He has been leading Cruz to the forefront of their markets with his tenacious leadership and sound project management. Jeff’s extensive knowledge within the oil and gas industry and firsthand experience has helped him align strategic business relationships along with providing a superb operations team.

Randy Norman

Vice President

Randy Norman joined Cruz Construction in 2007. He previously worked as a maintenance manager on remote mining sites throughout Alaska and the lower 48. Randy’s experience providing, maintaining, and managing extensive equipment fleets helps Cruz ensure we are leading the industry with our resources. Randy’s diverse knowledge of various equipment helps Cruz lead the industry with an unparalleled, customized equipment fleet. A long-time Alaska resident, Randy enjoys hunting, boating, and snow machining across Alaska.

Greg Miller

Vice President of Operations

Greg Miller has had over 12 years of extensive experience since starting with Cruz shortly after earning his BS in construction engineering management. Early in his career, Greg was devoted to establishing new operations for Cruz in Bakken, North Dakota. In the Bakken office, he worked as an engineer, logistics manager, crane operator, and operations manager. Since returning to Palmer, Greg has managed projects in Southcentral, Western, and the North Slope of Alaska for clients such as the North Slope Borough, Alaska DOT, Conoco Phillips, and Hilcorp; building civil projects, supporting remote operations, and developing material sources.
